ABOUT
Myra Cargo is a visual artist living in Southern California. In 2012, Myra began her professional career in New York City as an artist in residence with Transform. Myra was offered the opportunity to have a solo exhibition in Brooklyn, NY in August of 2014. The following summer Myra had a second solo exhibition in Florence, Italy and and then a third in Shanghai, China in the fall of 2015. While Myra remains committed to continuing her personal creative practice, she is also passionate about creating opportunities for other artists. Myra has also developed a summer artist residency program in the heart of Tuscany, which took place in the summer of 2015 in the small town of Castel del Piano, Italy. Myra plans to continue and expand her vision, creating a partnering residency program in the States.
